project Structure
Project structure encompasses the systematic arrangement and organization of research components, enabling a clear and logical framework for conducting and presenting a study

Knowledge harvest: Cultivating insights and information
Cultivating Data-driven Insights and Actionable Information
Nurturing Insights and Data for Growth
At this stage of the study, a comprehensive analysis and documentation of all aspects related to the design of an offshore floating wind farm take place, encompassing both onshore and offshore facilities.
Beyond purely mechanical and structural infrastructure, it also involves an analysis of all environmental operating conditions as well as the economic and social parameters of the entire business plan.
This toolkit will support the local business community, facilitating investments at all levels.
In more detail, exploring the wind and wave potential of marine areas, as well as their proximity to ports and locations capable of accommodating the size of wind turbine components, along with the complete design of wind parks (type of wind turbines, floaters, and anchoring) up to the electrical interconnections and the analysis of the supply chain, enables the development of a comprehensive business plan with the ultimate goal of energy production.

Development of standard studies
Establishing Foundational Studies
FORMULATING PROTOTYPICAL INVESTIGATIONS
Technical Reports will present to all interested parties the capabilities of FLOWIND to assist in the development of a business plan for a large-scale prospective investment concerning the construction and utilization of offshore floating wind parks.
These studies will provide the necessary tools to facilitate all calculations using the same means.
The required software has been developed by FLOWIND partners and has already been implemented in the industry, both in Greece and abroad.
In essence, it involves the compilation of criteria and prerequisites necessary for the installation of wind parks and the creation of an integrated support system for the planning and implementation of investments, from initial assessment to the final project realization.

Designing future objectives
Architecting Tomorrow's Goals
Project extensions
The objective of FLOWIND is to traverse the entirety of individual studies related to investments in offshore wind energy, capturing their interrelation in data flow and exchange.
It entails creating a roadmap that starts from supporting and studying an investment in offshore floating wind parks, all the way to energy production and distribution.
Therefore, the next steps of FLOWIND aim to systematize and automate this flow (using suitable communication protocols), as well as the entire process in hellenic seas, in a comprehensive manner, to identify potential obstacles and opportunities that may arise in application (case studies).
